The Role

To coordinate the servicing and maintenance of the companies' fleet of specialist vehicles whilst ensuring maximum up-time and reducing our costs to deliver.

Key responsibilities

* Alongside the Fleet Manager, responsible for ensuring vehicle compliance and to enable us to hold an "Operators License" which is essential to the running of our business. This is a significant responsibility on behalf of the company

* Hold daily responsibility for communicating with service providers that look after the pumps & meters along with ancillary equipment

* Maintain R2C and digital files with vehicle maintenance documents and preventative maintenance inspections (PMI's)

* To monitor and control service levels whilst the asset is either with a workshop or the asset is VOR

* Continually review the maintenance service levels provided and produce KPI reporting on fleet

* Communicate daily movements to the planning team and driver workforce

* Be responsible for the technology and communications systems within the Operations environment including vehicle onboard IT systems

Skills and Experience Required

* 1 - 2 years within a commercial vehicle maintenance role or environment

* Strong administrative and organisational ability with a diligent approach and high level of duty of care

* Knowledge of Dangerous Goods, either through fuel delivery experience or other ADR role would be advantageous

* Comprehensive skills specifically in Microsoft Office Excel and Word

* Proven capacity to develop contingency plans & manage the unexpected to the best outcome

* Knowledge of Dangerous Goods, either through fuel delivery experience or DGSA would be advantageous.

Complementary Courses/Certifications/Licenses Required

* CPC in Road Haulage (Desirable)

* ADR Awareness (Desirable)

A valid UK driving licence is essential.
