Our client is expanding their Quality Control team and Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Quality Control Inspector.
The successful candidate will join a very busy and friendly quality inspection team at our client's production facility in Grantham.
The Role:
Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible for undertaking controlled materials testing and inspection activities. Our client is a leading waste and recycling company and you will be required to monitor and test the quality / grade of materials both "inbound" and "outbound".
Working in the quality control laboratory your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
* Carry out routine samples for Inbound & Outbound in accordance to the MRF Regulations.
* Carry out routine lab analysis for SRF, Wood, Gypsum, Glass, etc
* Conduct quality performance inspections across the business
* Monitor temperature of Inbound & Outbound material
* Carry out routine moisture inspections of Outbound material
* Support the drive of quality improvement initiatives
* Support the continuous development of the QMS
* Provide quality reports to the Quality Manager.
Candidates:
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience in a quality control / inspection position / role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industries.
Applicants with previous experience in waste management or recycling industry will have an advantage however all applicants will be considered.
You will be of a friendly outgoing nature and you will have excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm
