Trustee

Tynedale Hospice at Home is a Northumberland-based charity providing nursing care in the home, hospital transport and family support services to people living in the areas of West Northumberland, Tynedale and Ponteland.

We are looking for Trustees to support and complement the skill set of our current Board of Trustees and help drive our three-year strategy forward.
In particular, we are looking for energetic, talented and committed people with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, who are used to being in a people-focused environment, and who can formulate and implement strategy.

We are particularly keen to attract interest from people with relevant senior experience and expertise in the following areas:
* Clinical, medical, social care practitioners and/or Medical Administration/Management
* Income Generation / Fundraising
* Retail / Business Management
* Governance, Accountancy, HR or Law

The role is voluntary and Board meetings take place six times a year.
Away-days will be held for strategic planning and there is also Board training and development on offer.
