Salary: £18,189 to £21,414 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

An opportunity has arisen for a research technician within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.
This post will require flexibility, dynamism, energy and initiative, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and good communication skills. The post will support the research activities of the School by ensuring that research laboratories are fully provided for through the provision of materials, advice and operational support.
Candidates for this post should possess a minimum of two A-levels in relevant subjects, or equivalent vocational qualifications (NVQ, City & Guild), plus some experience in a relevant technical/scientific role. Applicants should have knowledge of aseptic and molecular biology techniques along with a basic understanding of Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position available until 30 September 2020. Applications for job share will be accepted.
