IT Technician

Point 26-28 (currently £23,866-£25,463) 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Cottenham Village College is on a journey to become an outstanding school where learning is at the heart of everything we do. We require a well organised, reliable and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills to join our IT team to provide a range of technical support.

The IT Technician will play a key role in maintaining the infrastructure, service and solutions providing exceptional IT support to staff and students across the two schools

(Cottenham Village College and The Centre School)

Main responsibilities include:

• Resolve problems associated with operating systems, networks, software and hardware
• Take responsibility for key tasks such as help desk management and first line support
• Assist in developing a more integrated approach to ICT and technologies • Install and test new software and hardware • Update and maintain the schools websites and VLE
