40 hours per week on a 5 of 7 basis

Our client has an opportunity for an organised and customer focussed Contract Support Assistant to join their Cleaning & Grounds Team. 

Within this role, you will process all requests for cleaning, grounds maintenance, tree work, and plan their allocation to your team ensuring successful delivery of works within organisational targets. 

What’s the role all about?

Liaising positively with operatives, you will encourage and enable them to complete tasks within allocated priorities and to their specific planned programmes as well as ensuring the materials are available.
You will keep customers informed, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will liaise with external contractors, council departments and external bodies to resolve any issues and complaint queries.
You will assist the team leaders and charge hands along with any other colleagues within the wider Property Solutions administration team, with varying workloads as and when required.

Has experience of working within a service environment
Is experienced in planning/scheduling works within a customer focussed environment.
Has a confident, assertive approach to delivering work
Has experience of using a variety of computer packages including databases and Microsoft 365, Word, Excel and Outlook
Is able to be proactive rather than reactive, work under pressure and deal calmly with difficult situations
Can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Is able to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships
