Are you caring and compassionate and looking to make a difference in people's lives?
Our client is a care home provider throughout East Anglia. They offer an adaptable service for the elderly; facilities are continually reviewed and updated in order to provide a safe environment in which the needs of every individual are met.
They are now looking for 2 part-time cooks to join their team at their Gamlingay care home. Initially working around 20 hours per week as per rota including weekend work, with the option to increase as the home grows.
You will be responsible for preparing Breakfasts, Lunches and Dinners for the elderly as well as other kitchen duties. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience of large volume cooking within a care home, school or line cooking or gastro/pub environment.
Key Qualities we are looking for:
• Previous experience in large volume cooking
• Have worked in the care industry - (preferable)
• Enhanced DBS checked - (or willing to undertake this)
• Be able to commute to Gamlingay
