For us the 90s marked the opening of our Ipswich office and although it is our smallest team, Ipswich has our biggest family feel!

The office family draws from the diversity of the town and has a true community feel, where everyone takes the time to get to know each other. The team prides themselves on the support provided to the local charities and communities. Ipswich embrace our 'One Day' initiative, which allows each member of staff to give back to the local community or a charity that matters most to them.

Sihena has worked as part of our Ipswich team for the last 3 years, she shares some of things that makes Direct Line Group and her role different to other jobs.

I feel that I am appreciated for what I do here and I'm treated as an individual. Working for DLG gives me an enormous sense of pride. As with any role, I also have difficult days at work, but the team keep me going as we are very close and are there to support you

Progression and development has always been important to me and when I joined DLG 3 years ago that was exactly what I was looking for. Working in this environment I have learnt how to communicate a lot better with all different types of customers and colleagues. I now manage a team and I'm always learning to organise my day and work to time frames
