Commercial Gas Engineer - South Wales
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial gas engineer to join a progressive National Engineering Company with fantastic earning potential, unrivalled training and career advancement???
As a Commercial Gas engineer you may be visiting multiple non-domestic premises daily, where you will be carrying out a range of duties from Gas safety inspection & servicing to breakdown, repair and fault finding. There is also opportunity to work on small installation / boiler replacements and project works.
Our Client, helps more than 2,000 UK business customers test, install and manage their property infrastructure assets. They currently have over 400 engineers based nationwide. Their technical and quality management standards are second to none, they are one of a few UK Companies accredited to UKAS 17020 inspection body standards for fixed wire and portable appliance testing.
THE IDEAL COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER Required Qualifications:
CCN1 - CDGA1 - CENWAT - CIGA1 - CKR1 - CODNCO1 - CONGLP1PD - CORT1 - CPA1 - HTR1 - ICPN1 - TPCP1
COCATA1 - CODC1 - TPCP1A - COMCAT2 - COMCAT1 - BMP1
You must have an understanding of H&S in the workplace
You must be self motivated, driven, customer focused and possess excellent communications skills
All candidates will require full course of right to work in the UK, be suitably qualified as per job description, no more than 6 points on their driving license and able to pass an enhanced DBS and HSE check.
COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER SALARY & BENEFITS:
Up to GBP34,000 Basic including up to GBP150 per qualification (no limits on qualifications)
fully expensed van (10p personal mileage) + New PDA + Kane 457 tester + Branded Workwear + PPE + Fuel card + Pension Scheme + 28 Days Holiday + Comprehensive Induction Programme
Realistic on target earnings GBP45,000
COMMERCIAL GAS ENGINEER OVERTIME & STANDBY PAY
Time & a third overtime Monday to Friday,
Time & a half overtime Saturday morning until Midday,
Double Time Saturday afternoon, Sundays & Bank Holidays
GBP118.75 per week if on standby
Our clients current gas engineering workforce are amongst the most multi skilled in the industry with a majority holding domestic, commercial, and COMCAT qualifications. Although there are engineers based across the UK, our client is a national business with some requirement to travel, therefore a company vehicle & fuel card are provided as well as accommodation / food allowance should an occasional overnight stay be required.
