Our client is based in North Shields are looking for an experienced HR administrator to join the team. The role will be to support Head of Corporate Support and the HR Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
* To create job advertisements for roles and support managers with interviews, by contacting shortlisted candidates.
* To progress successful candidates through the compliance and on boarding process from beginning to end including DBS clearance.
* To support the Recruitment plan by attending recruitment events and assisting with campaigns.
* To assist with the new starters training Induction.
* To manage sickness absence logging all notes and liaising with payroll.
* To support payroll by populating leaver spreadsheets.
* Liaise with the Chief Executive to arrange monthly Employee Forum, take minutes.
* Support managers in disciplinary, grievance and appeal meetings.
* Administer company schemes for colleagues.
Experience
* Experience of providing HR support in a busy office environment.
* Excellent PC skills, using Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and any other relevant
software.
* Time management skills.
* Approachable and empathetic nature.
* Knowledge and experience in recruitment and selection.
* Strong communication skills, dealing with difficult and sensitive personal issues.
This is a temp to perm vacancy at GBP9.40 per hour. Hours - 8.45am- 4.30pm.
