JOB PURPOSE
To provide an efficient parts service whist keeping the internal and external customer relations to the highest professional levels possible.

Salary: GBP20,000 per annum

Hours of work: 37.5 hours flexible from 7.30am to 9am start

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Despatch customer orders and produce required transport documentation and export documentation, as appropriate
2. Picking & packing of works orders and sales orders whilst constantly seeking to improve the process and ensuring all parts are packed so that no damage may be caused in transit.
3. Goods receipt of materials into stock from both external suppliers and internal production departments.
4. Support miscellaneous issue and return of material to the production and development areas within the required control framework.
5. Ensure fast and efficient replenishment of production Kan-Ban stocks.
6. Maintain the integrity of the stock and the workplace environment.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous stock control and despatch experience desirable but not essential
Good numeracy skills
Good organisational skills
Ability to maintain an open mind on improving efficiency and reducing wastes as part of the companies Lean Manufacturing programme
