Retirement Housing Manager (LiveSmart)

Do you have experience of working with vulnerable people?

We're looking for an experienced manager to provide an intensive housing management and concierge service to meet the needs of residents living in retirement housing. You will be covering our Ferndale and Broadfield Close schemes which are within 5 minutes of each other. You'll be the first point of contact and manage access to the buildings for residents, contractors and visitors.

The scheme's purpose is to enhance the life chances of the people we work with, to ensure that we provide a safe and secure environment, and to promote each individual's independence. The schemes are located within an existing active community and holds regular social activities such as coffee mornings, whist, bingo, lunches, film shows, charity events, outings and lunches.

You'll be showing potential residents the property and communal areas and explain the LiveSmart service. You'll also be responsible for signing up new residents' to the tenancy agreement, explain how to use the communal facilities, the heating with the property, locks anything related to the property and scheme.

With excellent communication and customer service skills you'll work with other housing teams, arrange viewings and enable residents to settle into the scheme.You'll report any safeguarding concerns as appropriate, and make referrals to other agencies where residents need additional support.

You must be flexible, calm under pressure and able to deal with emergencies if required.With excellent time management skills you'll be able to organise and prioritise your own workload, whilst maintaining high customer service standards.
