Our client are looking for an Internal Account Manager to join their rapidly expanding IT Distribution business. They offer solutions and services to value added resellers and system integrators.

This is an office based sales role handling inbound sales calls, selling pro actively to managed customer accounts, supporting general sales across the customer base and developing new business. You will be targetted to deliver gross profit through effective sales and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be the first point of telephone contact for customers calling the sales desk, providing sales quotations, fielding pre-sales queries and advising on pricing, part numbers and configuration as required.
  • Following up sales leads and other business generation activities.
  • Support all sales efforts to unallocated accounts in co-ordination with the other members of the internal sales team.
  • To take part in pro-active sales campaigns, call-out days and other activities designed to develop new business
  • To promote all products within target accounts, in particular using support from product managers to drive new products into the customer base.
  • To work with product managers and technical staff on responses to tenders and quotations.
  • To provide regular sales forecasts and sales pipeline information to the Sales Director.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular contact, both in face-to-face meetings and remotely, seeking and developing high quality new business opportunities wherever possible
  • Research, cold call & build relationships with new clients

Requirements

2-3 years of experience selling IT products and services
Excellent telephone manner
Professional approach to business and relationship building
KPI driven and success driven
Previous experience working at an IT Distributor preferred but not essential
Good Administration skillls
