Our client is looking for an experienced Packaging Technician. This role will be one year fixed term contract.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with packaging in a GMP environment and have a hands on approach to mechanical problems. Will have worked as a Packaging Technician (or titled similar) previously and recently.
Right first time attitude and the drive for continuous improvement is a must.
Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and mathematics.
Main Responsibilities
As a Packaging Technician, you will be packaging products using modern blister and cartoner machines and associated end of line equipment, while maintaining GMP and quality requirements in accordance with standard operation procedures.
You should be self-motivated to achieve our performance, quality and efficiency KPIs in line with the department's targets.
Working on a rotating shift pattern as Packaging Technician, committing to shifts that compromises of a 3 week rotation and you will work a combination of day shifts - 7am - 7.15pm and then night shifts - 7pm - 7.15am from Monday through to Saturday morning.
• Week 1 - 2 rest days and then 3 day shifts
• Week 2 - 3 night shifts and then 2 rest days
• Week 3 - 2 day shifts, 1 rest day and then 2 night shifts
