We are seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic and
operational leadership for all financial and business aspects of the Trust, which currently comprises a primary and secondary academy, both on the same site.

The Chief Financial Officer will be accountable for: 

• The strategic leadership of finance (including strategic financial planning, financial compliance and statutory reporting).
• Ensuring that the Trust operates as cost-effectively as possible.
• Line management of the Finance team to ensure their operational effectiveness, and the accuracy and timeliness of internal financial processing and reporting. 
• Governance and Board administration functions, including internal audit arrangements. 
• Co-ordinating the work of others in areas of common working, such as procurement and health and safety. 
• Supporting the careful management of risk.

The post-holder will be pro-active, enterprising and above all, an effective
communicator.

The Chief Financial Officer is accountable to the CEO.
