Mid-Weight Architectural Interior Designer wanted by a luxury design studio specialising in multiple sectors
Your new company
An extremely well known and award winning interior design studio that guarantees an interior that is impeccably tasteful and bespoke every time. Your new company is comprised of FFE designers and technical designers who work together to bring projects to life. The founder of the studio is known for their attention to detail and bespoke designs. Projects vary from high-end residential, yachts, celebrity cruises and commercial projects, so there's always the opportunity to gain more experience.
Your new role
As a mid-weight architectural designer, you will be expected to undertake the production of information and drawings for a project. Subject to the size of the project, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and production of Planning, Tender and Construction Packages, and ensuring quality and programme targets are met. You will report to a Senior Interior Architect, Senior Interior Designer or an Architect who will oversee the projects you are working on.
Your roles will include using AutoCAD to create room layouts; Kitchens, bathrooms, small power plan, lighting, RCP, floor finish plans and elevations. Also need to provide assistance in the creation of preliminary plans and design concepts, while analysing design objectives in accordance to clients' needs.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will only be considered if they have 2-5 years post-graduation experience (at least 2 years in the UK) and hold a recognised Architectural Technology or Drafting Qualification.
You will need to have sound knowledge of UK building Regulations and UK Planning laws and strong knowledge of AutoCAD LT essential. Knowledge of BIM software preferable, along with knowledge of joinery construction / design.
