This small, forward looking, precision engineering company is looking to expand and therefore needing to recruit a CNC programmer/machinist to join their busy team.
Applicants must be hard-working, flexible and able to adapt to our friendly but focused environment.
The successful candidate will be able to program, set and operate CNC machines from engineering drawings, working to tight tolerances and strict deadlines without any compromise on quality.
Experience in Hurco, Siemens and Fanuc controls would be an advantage, however training can be given to the right candidate.
CNC milling experience is essential, but candidates who also have CNC turning experience may be at an advantage.
Initially, this position would be temporary, ideally for 3 months, and full time (40 hours plus overtime when required) . This is negotiable. The position could become permanent if successful.
Rates of pay - Negotiable, but up to GBP12/GBP13 per hour depending on experience.
