Service Charge Accounts Junior

Rutherford Briant are currently working with an accountancy Practice based in Cambridge to support them with recruiting for a Service Charge Accounts Junior.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to begin a career within an Accounts environment as the package also offers study support (AAT qualification) along with a competitive basic salary too.

Roles and Responsibilities

You will form part of a team, and will assist in carrying out service charge assurance assignments, with some preparation of service charge accounts and statutory accounts under the supervision of a manger.

Assignments take place in the office will involve a large amount of client interaction.

The Candidate

Behavioural competencies

Team player with the ability to multi-task, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills are essential, both internally and externally.

Work based competencies

Minimum of 3 A levels (at grades A*- C), preferably including accountancy or mathematics.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Training

In addition to your work based training we provide day release study support to gain an appropriate accountancy qualification. You will initially study for the AAT qualification.

Classroom training is delivered by leading accountancy tutors in Cambridge, with exams at regular intervals throughout your studies.

Salary Guide

GBP14,000 per annum, full-time + study support towards AAT qualification
