In return, we are offering a competitive salary of £35,000 - £43,000 per annum depending on the role and experience, plus benefits.

About the roles:
We are expanding our pool of talented Designers in our Global Design Team with a number of roles available at different levels for a UX Designer / Senior UX Designer. One of the Senior UX Designer roles is offered on a permanent basis, the others on 12 month fixed-term contracts although there is a strong possibility that the contracts could be extended. The roles involve working on an exciting opportunity to shape user experience for our customers within our English Language Teaching (ELT) group.
Reporting to the Global Design Director, you will collaborate with the Design team, Product Owners, Digital Strategy, tech teams and markets to create engaging, innovative, emotive and accessible activities. Our ever-competitive market place demands fresh unique products which have a real impact on learners across the world.
Incorporating agile working and Design Sprints, these roles encompasses the full design cycle from design specifications to prototypes and conducting usability studies to provide and communicate insights.
What we are looking for in our UX Designer and Senior UX Designer:
To succeed in either of these roles you will be a great team player since you will be interacting with many stakeholders in Cambridge and across our global business. You will have experience of working through a user-centred design process, understanding and implementing strategy and will be able to apply and advise on the latest best practice.
Senior UX Designer;
You will be supported by the UX Designers, so the ability to delegate and manage workflow demands in an agile environment successfully is also required.
You will understand user interaction in all contexts and formats and have expertise in UX software. Ideally you will have some previous experience of Avallian or digital educational content and be able to create cross platform responsive user interfaces.
Supporting the Senior UX Designer, you will need to be able to take instruction whilst also using your own initiative, working collaboratively as part of a team.
