I work alongside Consultants, Resourcers, Directors and Support Staff that have been trapped here for years on end. Trapped in stable jobs, dealing with long standing clients, getting constant recognition of the great jobs they do.
I'm far too busy now and need a partner to help me support my clients as I'm not prepared to let the standard of my service drop. I need your help.
I've been with CDM for 2 years supporting clients in the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors. It's a busy, well established desk with some large clients, predominantly perm recruitment but also some temp. You'll help with both.
At CDM we see recruitment as a job for two. One to deal with the clients, and potential clients, managing the processes. Then another, you, dealing with the candidates. Searching, networking, screening and building relationships. I'm looking for that 'go to' person to work with me.
You'll be working in a close-knit team that has a great balance of being a fun place to work, along with being a focused, hard working office where we get the job done.
You'll get plenty of variation in the types of roles you work on. One week it could be all bespoke, needle in a haystack engineers that you're scouring for. The next it could be a high volume campaign looking for Assemblers, Spray Painters & Welders for a manufacturing company.
You'll need to be well organised with a good memory as we could be jumping between campaigns quite quickly, or more realistically, dealing with multiple at any given time.
Here's what you'll need:
* Some experience in recruitment. That could be as a Consultant but you didn't want to do BD. Or as a Resourcer elsewhere, and just want a better environment to work in. That could also be internal recruitment.
* Ideally experience in either engineering, trades or manufacturing recruitment.
* Good customer service skills.
