Senior Support Worker - Criminal Justice
Hours: part time, 24 hours per week

Julian House is looking to appoint a part-time, 24 hours per week Senior Support Worker - Criminal Justice, to  provide direct support and housing management to clients from an offending background in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire supported housing services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged people. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Support named clients as part of an agreed caseload
  • Work in close partnership with the Criminal Justice case coordinators other team members and with relevant external agencies
  • Support the delivery and co-ordination of meaningful occupation, ‘purposeful’ activities for clients, including access to recovery programs, volunteering, training, educational and employment opportunities
  • Provide effective housing management
  • Responsible for ensuring that rent and service charge payments are made and recorded in respect of named clients
  • Attend multi-agency meetings as required with partnership agency staff to share information and discuss support plans
  • Support Service Users in contributing to the development of new and existing services
  • Provide support and guidance to volunteers and students within the service.
