Project Manager
My client, based in Somerset, are a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of specialist laboratory furniture.
Due to the increasing success and expansion of the company, they are now looking to take on a Project Manager to oversee new projects from initial order to completed installations.
Responsibilities:
* Monitoring of field-based engineer team and communication with site on delivery and installation/service schedules.
* Ensure works are complete fully on time and within budget.
* Providing relevant & up to date information such as order acknowledgements, RAMS, skills matrix & insurance details.
* Provide initial contact point for customer queries, complaints & technical submissions providing a solution where possible or escalating where appropriate.
* Managing logistics for field service engineer test equipment & ensuring calibration requirements are met.
* Organising and monitoring of specialist sub-contract work and attending site meetings where appropriate.
* Preparation for invoicing.
* Reviewing site and unit drawings.
Experience/Qualifications:
* Min of a HNC or HND in Engineering, GCSE in Maths, English & Science or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience of project management or related field in the engineering / construction industry.
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety and experience in working in ISO9001:2000 environment.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Products: Word, Excel, Outlook & Explorer.
* ACT database
* SAGE accounting software
