Care Workers
Our client based in Misterton, provides professional, fully trained and experienced care workers to provide exceptional support, tailored to each individuals needs and to support them to live independently in their own homes.
The company are now looking for Care Workers to join their well established team to operate from their base in Misterton near Doncaster and to cover the surrounding towns and villages, providing a high quality service.
The main aim of the role will be to provide domiciliary care for those that require additional help with daily living. Patients will vary from those with Physical Disabilities to those needing dementia care. This is a varied an rewarding role for someone that wants to make a difference to the life of others.
Main duties include:
- Personal care (bathing, lavatory needs, Personal grooming)
- Mealtime assistance
- Assisting with Medication
- Social interaction (social outings, pursuing hobbies and interests)
- Mobility (Day time activities, Moving around the house, getting in and out of bed) - Light household cleaning tasks
- Cooking meals
- Washing & Ironing
- Shopping
- Attending Hospital appointments
For this role you must have a Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle and you must be willing to add business insurance to your vehicle's policy (if you do not already have it) and will be paid 25p per mile, travelled during working hours.
The company are preferably looking for candidates to work either evening or weeknight shifts.
Evening shifts will be from 3pm-10.30pm. If working the evening shift, you will be required to travel from home to home, visiting patients throughout the evening.
The weeknight shift hours will be 10pm-7am. If working weeknights, you will be based at one patients home for the entire shift.
