Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for the management and operation of specialist inpatient and community mental health, learning disabilities, addiction services and acquired brain injury services in Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby, Merseyside. The Trust also provides community physical health services in Liverpool, Sefton, secure mental health services for the North West of England, the West Midlands and Wales and specialist learning disability services across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside. DO YOU HAVE SOME FREE TIME, APPROXIMATELY 3 DAYS A MONTH DURING THE DAY?

The Trust is looking for people to serve as Associate Hospital (Mental Health Act) Managers preferably who live locally, who can demonstrate an interest in mental health and learning disability care and who have the time and ability to contribute to the work of the Mental Health Act Managers Committee. As an Associate Hospital (Mental Health Act) Manager, you will participate in the review process, the scrutiny of records, the monitoring of reports and audit/ review visits to units for those service users detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.

A sessional taxable allowance is payable plus agreed travelling/parking expenses.
