About the Job
SEN LSA to work with adults aged 19-25 on a 1:1 basis. Our client is a specialist Adult college for students with various complex medical needs and associated learning difficulties.
Requirements
They are looking to appoint an LSA to join them for an ASAP start. The role will be on a part-time basis (3 days per week) and will continue until the end of term. There is a very strong chance of this continuing into a permanent role.
The centre welcomes applications from those candidates who have a real empathy of working with Learners with complex needs and have a high ambition to really make a difference to these young people's lives.
Previous experience of working with student's/adults with complex needs is essential. Empathy and understanding are key to making a difference in this centre.
Any additional training in the following areas are welcome:
* PECS
* Makaton
* Epi Pen Trained
* Epilepsy training

Our client is a colleg for learners aged 19-25 who suffer from MLD/SLD/PMLD/ADHD/ASC and other associated complex needs.
