Our client is an internationally renowned supplier of connectors, looms and harnesses to the automotive, military, and aerospace industries. They require a Quality Inspector to work at their site in Hastings.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes and experience:
• The use of verniers, calipers, and micrometers
• Use of CMM would be an advantage
• To professionally work to the required HSE requirements in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure clear immediate communication to the Team Leader and /or Supervisor on Project concerns
• Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy manner consistent with defined the Group requirements
• To complete the required project paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure a smart personal professional image [e.g. no visible body jewellery] and wearing a clean presentable uniform and any required personnel protective equipment
• To ensure customer satisfaction by being flexible and courteous at all times
• To be proactive in suggestions for improvement
• To continually seek to become more multi-competent
• To be fully involved in the discussions on team performance
• Provide the flexibility to support a production facility that runs 24/7
• To demonstrate a high level of accuracy
• To have a keen eye for detail
Due to the operational requirements of this position you must not be colour blind as you will be required to perform quality inspection on electrical wiring from time to time.
