The Client

Onward Homes (formerly known as Symphony Housing Group) is one of the largest registered providers of social housing, based solely in the North West of England.

In April 2017, we brought the Group together under the Onward brand to signal our intention to increase our impact and to make a greater contribution to the communities and customers we serve and we are delivering a major transformation change programme in the way in which we deliver services and how we are structured as a business

The Role

As part of a continued focus on developing, shaping and delivering our services and supporting our wider Property teams, we are looking for a Landlord Compliance Co-ordinater (one post) to join our Landlord Compliance Delivery Team in Merseyside.

Reporting to the Compliance Information Specialist you will be responsible for supporting the Landlord Compliance Team in ensuring accurate and up to date records of proposed and completed compliance work and finance records are maintained and current, to ensure Onward Homes is fully compliant and reduces any residual risk to customers, colleagues and third parties.

The role is of a support nature so will include management of systems, report validation, updating of records, maintaining files and responding to queries from the team.

About You

You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent and have previous administrative / support experience in the housing sector.

You would preferably have knowledge of contract delivery, and contractor management and also be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills as you will have to communicate to wider teams and to 3rd parties. Experience of working in a customer focused environment would be beneficial.

This post would suit someone with a methodical approach to work, with sound organisation skills and with experience of working in a team environment but also have the ability to work on your own initiative.

Good IT skills are essential, including Microsoft and Orchard. You will be expected to use other 3rd party software packages as part of your role so to be able to adapt quickly and learn new skills would be an advantage.
