Young Persons Development worker - Based in Bolton
Salary of £22,818 per annum
37 hours per week
The posts is open to women only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010.
You will work alongside the Young Persons Domestic Violence Advisor to provide medium/long term support to victims 16+ who are escaping and recovering from Domestic Abuse.
You will help to implement an innovative programme for working with young people, which will assist them in getting over their particular experience of violence and abuse from partners and or trusted adults, including the setting up of a Young Persons panel to help inform and develop this service.
You need to be an excellent communicator, non-judgemental and understand a range of issues linked to young vulnerable people.
A current valid driving licence and the ability to provide a suitable vehicle for work is essential.
