We have an exciting, newly created, opportunity for a suitably qualified Project Manager to join our prestigious client, an events and exhibition company situated 10 miles outside of Lincoln. The company, formed in 1991, have forged a strong reputation for their event design, event overlay, sport sponsorship activation, roadshows and interactive exhibition stands. The client portfolio encompasses many impressive organisations, both in the UK and Europe. The successful Project Manager will have experience working within a similar role and will have a passion for project management, including managing key accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. You may even be a Project Manager or Site Manager, from a construction background with transferable skills. This is an interesting, attractive and challenging opportunity for a Project Manager to join a reputable, friendly, events management team at an exciting time in their development.

Key duties– Project Manager:

 

  • Take responsibility for key accounts
  • Provide end to end management of various projects primarily in the UK
  • Leading the planning and implementation of projects
  • Undertaking site visits prior to installation
  • Being on site to manage build team during installation and liaise with client where appropriate
  • Lead and motivate the installation team ensuring development is progressed to schedule and the key issues are addressed proactively throughout the install process
  • Managing project specifications, budgets and timing plans
  • Managing client relationships
  • Maintaining a high level of responsiveness and service to clients and their sponsors

 

Personal Specification – Project Manager:

 

  • Excellent client facing, presentational and telephone skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and targets
  • Disciplined to ensure procedures are followed, whilst demonstrating a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Confidence in spotting and raising issues and finding solutions to problems, particularly when out on site
  • Excellent planning, analytical and organisational skills
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Positive and calm, able to work well under pressure and solve problems in a fast moving environment
  • Flexible approach to work, good organisational and communication skills
  • Display strong integrity and professionalism at all times.
  • Good PC skills, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
