Merseyside Pension Fund (MPF) is part of the Local Government Pension Scheme with assets exceeding £8bn making it one of the largest pension funds in the country. We are seeking to recruit an Accountancy Assistant to join the Finance team dealing with pension fund accounting, settlements, valuation and compliance.

We are looking for talented individuals with experience in a finance environment dealing with finance functions.

As well as maintaining the accounting and investment records of the Fund you will reconcile income and expenditure transactions to accurately reflect all financial activities. You will therefore, possess excellent numeracy, literacy and computer skills. On the job training will be provided.

Eligible candidates will hold a full AAT Accounting qualification or equivalent.
