Telephone Sales Manager - Maternity cover (one year contract)

£25,000 - £28,000

plus open ended bonus potential realistic OTE £40,000 - £45,000

A brilliant opportunity has arisen to manage a well established team of sales executives within the recruitment category of our business. You will be responsible for growing and developing recruitment revenue from clients who are looking to recruit local candidates through our digital, print and social platforms.

Driving performance through various tools such as Salesforce CRM system and internal booking systems you will develop the skills and knowledge of your team through the implementation of coaching plan. You will report directly to the Recruitment Director and work closely other sales managers to achieve the overall department targets & objectives

  • Setting individual, team objectives & targets with the Recruitment Director.
  • Drive activity at all times in order for the team to achieve daily, weekly & monthly targets as well as achieving their KPI’S & MSOP
  • Conduct daily directional meeting updating the team on activity, revenue and daily strives.
  • Review individual performance throughout the day, recognise and praise good performance and review development areas.
  • Reduce account decline by having a client contact strategy to either re-connect with clients that have lapsed and grow client base through cold calling competitors
  • Conduct weekly monitoring, call critiquing and coaching sessions on an individual basis and complete the associated paperwork completed.
  • Conduct telephone interviews and participate in selection days and interviews as required across the hub.
  • To be aware of all competitive media and ensure information is up to date, relevant and that the team are confident with overcoming objections

Solid knowledge of the market, categories and department.  Up to date awareness of competition.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months within a team leader or management role and have a previous experience within a telesales environment. Knowledge of the recruitment market would be advantageous.

The role is a 12 month contract initially to cover maternity leave however could lead to a permanent position or give you the opportunity to move within the company.
