They now have an opportunity available for an Admissions Officer to join them to oversee the recording of student information on the college admissions database; working closely with the assistant principals, curriculum leaders and academic staff to ensure interviews are arranged promptly and potential students are informed of the progress of their application.

Working closely with the admissions staff to produce reports for the head of marketing and senior leadership team, you will respond to enquiries from students, high school staff and careers advisers about admissions and monitor the achievement of quality standards for admissions within the College; supporting the administration of the College UCAS admissions process and communications with UCAS. Providing reception and welcome host function for interviews and preparing admissions paperwork for interview teams, you must support the enrolment process and work with marketing staff to maintain and improve high quality communications with applicants and potential students.

Candidates for this role should have a background in customer service and enquiry handling, be capable of communicating effectively with a wide range of people and have the ability to learn new systems and procedures. Familiar with IT packages and with an awareness of further / higher education, you must have some experience of dealing with the public and a good level of education.
