They have over 70 years in the market and are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Building Surveyor to join their East Midlands team in Nottingham to support and grow as part of their already successful team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a keen interest within the construction sector as well as displaying high levels of professionalism and maturity to maintain existing relationships with well-established clients. It is also important that the individual can demonstrate a strong attention to detail and ability to make correct judgements.

The role of Assistant Building Surveyor

Main Duties include:

• Conducting condition surveys as well as dilapidation and party wall matters
• Supporting with public sector client work
• Liaising with senior colleagues to ensure projects are delivered on time
• Helping compile scopes of work
• Attending design team meetings
• Working collaboratively on large scale projects

Experience

• Several years' experience in Construction-based work preferred
• RICS Degree for a student out of University
• Full Driving Licence
• Drive and ambition to support senior team
• IT Literate
