We are looking for a Cook to join our catering team at Cote Lane, Westbury on Trym, Bristol to deliver a quality and efficient food service that meets the individual needs of our residents.

This role is working in a finishing kitchen. Food is prepared and ready for cooking, and your role will be to complete cooking processes and manage the food service.

Working with a team of Catering Assistants you will manage the food service for lunchtimes within our retirement village. This will include providing a counter service of hot and cold food and drinks.

You will also be required to give daily feedback to the chefs to ensure numbers are correct to maintain good service levels and to minimise waste.

7.5 hours per shift - 30 hours per week. Wed, Thu, Fri and alternate weekends.

The ideal candidate will have a basic food hygiene and food production qualification. We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a catering environment who has had some supervisory responsibilities. They must have knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible and have the ability to problem solve.
