Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer job based near Melton Mowbray. Shifts: 4 on, 4 off days and nights.

They are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their specialist team.
Your new role
You will report into the Lead Engineer carrying out Maintenance and repair tasks in a timely and cost effective manner, whilst ensuring Production downtime is kept to a minimum. Your main duties will include:
* Carry out tasks in a safe, competent manner
* PPM and reactive maintenance
* Dealing with unexpected breakdowns
* Fault finding and rectification
* Working on PLCs and robotics.
* Report all Maintenance issues back to the Lead Engineer
* Ensure records are kept of Statutory Test Recording and Planned Maintenance requests
* Ensure adherence to site safety regulations at all times
* Ensure good repair/Manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
* Ensure Maintenance Hand-Back sheets are completed after every job undertaken.
What you'll need to succeed
You are a Time served Engineer with Electrical/Mechanical engineering qualifications and can demonstrate previous experience within a manufacturing facility. You are able to efficiently plan allocated work tasks and you have excellent communication skills. Your working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and robotics will be essential to you in this job. You are self-motivated and able to deal quickly with unexpected breakdowns. You are used to following PPM schedules and you know the importance of keeping downtime to a minimum.
