Our prestigious mailing client based in South Normanton is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team on a permanent contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk who has worked in a high volume, fast paced environment to join a company with real potential to grow with an employer that believes in the advancement of its employees.

Reporting to the Management Accountant the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for:

* Processing all invoices in a timely and accurate manner

* Checking that goods have been booked in and liaise with the relevant managers

* Managing booking in issues

* Maintaining monthly supplier statements

* Producing a month end Accruals listing for all costs not processed on the system

* Ensuring that all supplier queries are resolved as quickly as possible

Essential Requirements are:

* Previous Purchase Ledger experience in a similar role is essential (ideally mailing background)

* Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment

* Strong IT skills

* Strong sage background

* AAT qualified

* Proven successful decision making and initiative

Working hours are normal office 09.00 to 17.00 however our client is flexible and understanding of personal situations within reason. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and has very real progression prospects.
