Their Slave-Free Alliance initiative is a membership scheme for businesses of all sizes that want to prevent modern slavery within their Supply Chain. By managing this complex and growing risk area, members can protect and enhance their reputation, improve the quality of their products and services, and ensure they are meeting their compliance requirements.
This role
As Technical Services Manager for Slave-Free Alliance, you will deliver products and services to Alliance members, in order to assist them to achieve a slave-free supply chain.
Key responsibilities
* For new members, complete Threat Assessment and Gap Analysis reports and identify potential Slave Free Alliance services
* For existing members, develop and maintain excellent customer relationships using a planned CRM approach
* Support customers to develop strategies and action plans to mitigate the threat of modern slavery within their supply chains
* Review progress against these plans and complete high quality Status Reports for members
* Deliver high quality training to members' employees
* Prove appropriate support to members where potential incidents of modern slavery are identified
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Strategic and operational knowledge of modern slavery and broader Human Rights legislation and best practice within the business sector
* Experience of either Risk Management/Investigation, Supply Chain Management, Audit/Compliance or Policy Development
* Understanding of different supply chains
* Excellent verbal and written communication, with experience of writing reports or policies
* Evidence of strong commercial acumen and relationship management within a commercial context
* High attention to detail
