RF Hardware Design & Test Contract Engineer - Hardware, RF, Microwave, Testing, 2GHZ
We are looking for skilled and experienced RF/Hardware Contract Engineer to work on RF systems operating up to 2GHz.
You already have many years of experience in RF Electronics Design and Test underpinned by at least an HND or HNC in Electronic Engineering
You are an energetic self-starter with an ability to work on your own and as part of a team, quickly becoming a self-sufficient, effective and valued part of a busy engineering team.
You can demonstrate a thorough knowledge of electronics testing at frequencies of up to 2 GHz using VNAs, power-meters, oscilloscopes etc.
This includes the ability to create and use detailed Test Specifications which you are able to derive from Design Requirement Specifications.
Your test and diagnostic skills will enable you to write detailed Test Failure reports to enable repair and rework of UUTs.
You may also be required to contribute to the creation or modification of Design requirement Specifications.
You are skilled at component level fault finding utilising strong analytical, problem solving skills
Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as logic analysers, boundary scan, and on-chip debugging would be an asset.
You can demonstrate experience of verification, ESS and qualification tests.
The role is based in Basildon, Essex.
