What you'll be doing
Anchor Hanover is looking to recruit a regionally based Health and Safety Advisor to join our existing Health and Safety team.
The role offers a real opportunity to make a difference to organisational health and safety strategy, and to work with key stakeholders to devise and implement policy and approach.
Within this role you will work closely with operational housing and property teams, plus other stakeholders, to provide health and safety advice and a monitoring service, to ensure Anchor Hanover maintains a safe environment for our residents.
Key responsibilities
We are looking for a person who is passionate about health and safety and is a champion for change and compliance. We are seeking an individual who has experience in a similar role, carrying out audits, fire risk assessments and with knowledge of specialist areas, such as water management and asbestos.
Key experience and skills
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as NEBOSH certificate and fire risk assessment
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • A flexible approach, with ability and willingness to travel at short notice with occasional overnight stays

About the role
  • Location: Based at B1 Methuen South, Methuen Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 0GT, you will be responsible for providing health and safety support to the entire West region

  • Employment is subject to a satisfactory Basic Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
