Permanent contract - part time (30 hours)

Based in Manchester

IPPR North, IPPR’s dedicated think-tank in the North of England, is seeking an Events and Office Administrator to manage our Manchester Office.

It’s an exciting time to be joining IPPR North as we embark on a range of new projects to develop bold ideas for a stronger economy and prosperous people and places.

The postholder will oversee the smooth running of the Manchester office, in addition to providing regular diary support for the Director of IPPR North, and organising a range of events.

To be successful you will need to be highly organised, a willing communicator, and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks. You will have experience of office administration and events organisation; excellent IT skills; and ideally experience of using database management systems. You will pay close attention to detail and be willing to work flexibly as part of a small yet busy team. An interest in IPPR North’s work will be a distinct advantage.
