Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

The Company is a Residential Property Development Company based in Nottingham city centre and have a vacancy for an experienced residential Quantity Surveyor to join their successful and growing team. In fact, they are growing at over 30% per annum, so this is an exciting time for anyone joining the company.

They currently have 5 projects live of between 14-26 units on each, and are always working on new projects, with several larger developments due to go live in the second half of the year.

You will work closely with the Managing Director, the Architectural Manager and the Contracts Manager on a daily basis

Job Duties:

• Assisting on new site analysis and giving costing analysis
• Assessing and submitting project valuations, including on-site/drawing measurement where required
• Valuing variations and reconciling site instructions with site management
• Purchasing and negotiating rates with suppliers where necessary
• Ensuring project profitability and cost control
• Agreeing and negotiating final accounts
• Involvement in design meetings and advising on build issues

Key Requirements:

• Ideally have at least 5 years experience working on residential projects as a QS
• Living in the Nottinghamshire area
