Our client is a global leader in glass manufacturing in three business areas: Architectural, Automotive and Technical Glass.

Their mission is to be the global leader in innovative high-performance glass and glazing solutions, working safely and ethically.

Group Treasury sets overall treasury policy and provides treasury services to the businesses across the worldwide Group; treasury activity and expertise for the whole Group is concentrated in two small teams in Lathom and Tokyo therefore projects are both geographically and technically diverse with extensive use of systems.

This role presents an opportunity to join the Lathom Treasury Back Office team. Activities will include accounting, confirmations and settlements. Full training on all aspects will be provided and no prior work experience in this area is expected.

• A 2.1 or above degree or equivalent qualifications and experience
• A high level of computer literacy and be numerate.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, both with internal colleagues and external contacts, e.g. financial institutions.

The successful candidate will be expected to qualify as a member of a relevant accounting body and the required study facilities to prepare for the formal examinations are offered.

A full UK driving licence and car ownership would be an advantage due to limited public transport to the site.
