Workshop Technician
To inspect and service vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and company policies and procedures to ensure they are safe and running efficiently.
Duties:
Inspect and undertake routine maintenance of all vehicles and plant in accordance with the manufacturers recommended service intervals and customers safety inspection regimes
Diagnose and repair faults either found during routine inspections or reported by users in a cost effective manner
Inspect and prepare vehicles for annual MOT / Plating and Testing inspection
Work with vehicle and plant users to identify and resolve problems
Complete all documentation required in a timely and accurate manner
Skills :
Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or minimum of 3 years experience in similar role
Full clean driving licence
HGV class C & E licence
General :
Hours : Monday to Friday,
Basic salary: GBP10.49 to GBP11.81 per hour plus bonus
