Do you enjoy working in an active job in an outdoor environment? Are you looking for a longer term temporary role that can give you commitment until at least May/June time?
We are delighted to be working once again with this very friendly family run business in the Burgess Hill area in the run up to their peak period. They are looking for a number of people to help them out in their busy nursery.
The work will involve assisting in potting plants, putting cuttings of plants into pots, removing them from seed trays and planting them in to tubs. Most of the work is bench based so standing for long periods of time will be required.
Hours of work: 7.45am to 4.45pm (15 min break in the morning and 45 min break at lunchtime). Overtime payable for bank holidays when required.
Rate of pay: GBP7.38 - GBP7.83 until 1st April, GBP7.70 - GBP8.21 from 1st April onwards.
A commitment to this assignment until at least the end of May/June time is required. Please only apply if you can commit to it for this period, and also if you have no holiday booked between now and then.
Please note that you will require your own transport for this assignment as there is no local public transport.
