Specialist Care Data and Reporting Analyst

Sellick Partnership are recruiting for an exciting, expanding national organisation. Our client is looking for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join their team in Manchester city centre on a permanent basis. This opportunity has arisen due to internal promotion, and requires a driven individual to join their dynamic finance team. Our client is one of the largest retailers in their industry and have ambitious growth plans for the near future. This Data and Reporting Analyst will report directly into a Senior Finance Manager, and will have the opportunity to grow and develop with additional study support package.

This permanent Data and Reporting Analyst role will be primarily responsible for providing specialist financial and analytical information to assist in intelligent business decision making.

The Key responsibilities of the Data and Reporting Analyst

* Production of monthly, weekly and quarterly performance related reports for the division

* Production and review of monthly management account packs and forecasting in relation to business plans

* Transactional and trend analysis to provide the business decision makers with commercial insight

* Production of reports that support accurate invoices and review of invoices

* Analysing statistics and trends to improve underperforming system controls and processes

* Reconciling purchase prices of products and product margin to maximise profitability

* Translating statistical and financial information to non-finance professionals to make commercially astute business decisions

The Ideal Data and Reporting Analyst

The ideal Data and Reporting Analyst will be a highly analytical, commercially aware part qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). The ideal candidate will have proven experience in manipulating and analysing large data sets and clear communication and proficient Excel skills. The ability to pick up and operate bespoke internal systems quickly is essential.
