Landmarc currently require a Gas and Heating Technician to join our thriving team in Kirkcudbright. The role will require you to be responsible for any maintenance both planned and reactive on site.
Main Duties
• Installing, Servicing and repairing of oil and gas hot water and heating systems, HVAC, air handling systems and water systems in both domestic and commercial environments.
• Manage and carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as required
• Ensure appliances are safe working and be able to identify parts required for maintenance and repair
• Ensure all works are compliant with statutory obligations such as CDM, building regs/standards, fire safety, equality act, planning and environmental guidance
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective
• Complete documentation using IT equipment
The Ideal person
• You will have good practical skills and knowledge
• H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH
• Knowledge of workload scheduling
• Planning and analysis skills
• IT skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Self-motivated
• Be prepared to undertake further training
Qualifications and Requirements
• Gas safe registered
• NVQ or diploma in natural gas installation and maintenance
• NVQ in plumbing and heating
• Domestic: Building regs, com b analysis, cooker, fire, gas, LPG and oil boiler, pipework, range cooker, vented cylinder, water heater
• Non - Domestic: Air heating, metres, P/Work comm, pipework, water CH
