SALES OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Loughborough

(6 month fixed term contract)

C£17,500 (doe) Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

We have a vacancy for an experienced Sales Administrator to join the small friendly Sales Co-ordination team of this well know local employer. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for handling sales enquiries and inputting of orders. You will also be required to handle complaints, as and when required, so some previous experience with this would be preferable. As the Sales Administrator you will thrive on being able to multi-task, processing manual and electronic orders accurately and efficiently as well as dealing with complaints in a professional manner. This is a great opportunity to join this growing team with the possibility of permanent employment for the right person after the six month period

Key responsibilities Sales Administrator:

 

  • Dealing with a varied range of sales enquiries; e.g. delivery progress, general price enquiries and order inputting
  • Timely and accurate order processing, in line with Company procedures
  • Providing customers with updates relating to overdue orders and balances
  • The provision of a professional complaint handling service, responding verbally and in writing
  • Provision of a professional enquiry and problem resolution service to customers
  • Development of the complaints handling process with the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives to continually enhance the existing process
  • Liaison with other Departments and our External sales team
  • Any other duty that can be reasonably expected

 

Personal Specification – Sales Administrator:

 

  • Proven experience within a customer service or sales role
  • Previous complaint handling experience – both verbal and written
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • C grade in Maths and English Language GCSE or equivalent
  • Proficient in IT (Microsoft Office packages)
  • A team player who enjoys multi-tasking
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
