JOB ROLE: Sign Maker/ Sign Technician
LOCATION: Chertsey
SALARY: GBP24K - GBP28K DOE + opportunities for overtime
A Large Format Signage company based in Kingston upon Thames, are seeking an aspiring Sign Maker / Sign Technician to join their ever-growing team! Specializing in Internal and External Signage, they are seeking someone who is looking to get their foot in the door of a well-established, exciting company. They are looking for someone with previous experience as a Sign Maker / Sign Technician, they will consider all people with experience in either or both!
Sign Maker and Installer duties include:
To Operate and maintain Tekcel and Sabre CNC Router.
To assist the Production team with Manufacture and assemble of various sign systems.
Operate light machinery and tools.
Wrap and pack goods ready for dispatch.
Receive deliveries, checking for accuracy of delivered goods against order/job sheet.
Skills / Experience required:
(Essential Minimum Requirements to Undertake the Role)
Experienced CNC Router Operator
Familiar with 'V' Carve Draw, Composer and Artpath Software
Laser engraving - advantageous
Previous sign manufacturing and assembly experience
Fitting assembling and wiring of low voltage LED's
Ability to understand architectural drawings
Graphic and design understanding
