We are looking to recruit a Lead Maintenance Engineer to help oversee the running of hard services in a prominent shopping centre in Lancashire. The successful individual's purpose will be to help oversee the hard services contractors at the site who conduct all planned and reactive maintenance. You will also liaise with the retail stores within the shopping centre to conduct fit-outs and renovations and you will ensure compliance for all works undertaken.
This position is to work directly for the owner of the centre, a forward-thinking business that own a national portfolio. We are looking for a driven and determined individual who is able to build relationships quickly and has experience in a customer focused environment.

What:
* You will provide management for a team of on-site maintenance professionals along with external contractors conducting works.
* You will ensure compliance with health & safety legislation for all works undertaken along with planned and reactive maintenance.
* As Lead Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing electrician maintenance, mechanical maintenance, plumbing, repairs and modifications, carpentry, painting and other building maintenance tasks.
* You will oversee special projects in the centre including refurbishments.
Who:
* You should have experience overseeing PPM, reactive maintenance and refurbishments.
* You must have strong communication skills directly liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
* You must have experience in people management; overseeing a multi-skilled team of operatives who manage hard services.
