Days Based Role
Maintenance Fitter required for a well established specialist company operating within the PVD and Pharmaceutical Industry who supply their products on a worldwide basis. You will be joining a company who truly invest in their staff and offer amazing training and progression.
To apply for this role, you will be an apprentice trained mechanical fitter with experience working in any industry. Candidates must be competent using lathe and milling machines to carry out modifications and be able to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics. Candidates must be willing to get involved with training of apprentices within the company. Candidates from a medium to heavy industry background are encouraged to apply.
The role will involve occasional stay away, you can expect to be away for approximately 3 to 4 times a year for a week at a time all expenses paid. This will involve assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of equipment at customer sites. You will be required to regularly service machines on site and diagnose and rectify machine problems. You will be required to produce written reports for work completed.
